Hybrid learning – free webinars

Keen to explore new ways of working in a post-pandemic world?

Hybrid learning is set to be part of our new normal and a series of free webinars will explore what it is, how it works and help you integrate this into your classroom.

Developed in partnership with Derek Wenmoth, the Te Ako ā-Mangarau series aims to help you prepare for this type of teaching, and to develop a resilience plan based on a hybrid model. Delivered by Core Education, a session will be held on Thursday 17 February for secondary school context, from 3.30-4.30pm.

A primary and intermediate school-focused session will take place on 22 February, 3.30-4.30pm with a Māori medium session held on March 1, also at 3.30-4.30pm.

The webinar series is called Te Ako ā-Mangarau, which means the coming together (confluence) of many rivers. This metaphor acknowledges the multiple ways that teaching and learning will converge in settings using hybrid approaches.
