Teachers advised to stay tuned as pay talks continue

Last week we watched teachers and principals bargain another two days.

NZEI Te Riu Roa will continue to negotiate in good faith in order to arrive at a new proposal,  President Lynda Stuart, and lead negotiators Louise Green and Liam Rutherford said.

Dates have been set for further talks, with principals meeting this Thursday, August 30, and teachers penciled in for September 4.

At this stage, the union has confirmed there is no new proposal to share.
