Entries open for Canterbury DigiAwards

Entries have opened for the Canterbury DigiAwards, a competition in which primary and intermediate school children can put their digital creativity to the test.

This year’s theme is Be The Change, and contestants are encouraged to create digital masterpieces that demonstrate how they can do one thing to make the world a better place.

The DigiAwards are organised by CORE Education to promote digital, leadership and communication skills said to be vital for 21st century citizens.

Categories are divided into digital art, movie making, digital sandpit, website creation and green screen, and there are three categories: years one to three, years four to six, and years seven and eight.
