The Treasury Schools Challenge 2018 winners announced

<h2>Christchurch Girls High and Diocesan School for Girls took out the awards for Best Overall Team and Best Overall Individual respectively&period;<&sol;h2>&NewLine;<p>Able to enter as teams or individuals&comma; entrants were asked to take on the role of an analyst developing a briefing to the Tax Working Group&period; Their briefing was required to contain three policy<&sol;p>&NewLine;&lbrack;pro&lowbar;ad&lowbar;display&lowbar;adzone id&equals;&&num;8221&semi;4703&&num;8243&semi; align&equals;&&num;8221&semi;left&&num;8221&semi;&rsqb;&NewLine;<p>changes that would promote a fairer tax system in New Zealand&period; Entries could be made in the form of a 2000 word essay&comma; an A3 poster or a 5-minute video presentation&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li>Prizes were also awarded to the best individual and team in each category of entry&colon;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Best Individual Essay&colon; Hamilton Boys High<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Best Individual A3 Poster&colon; Rotorua Lakes High School<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Best Individual Video&colon; Diocesan School for Girls<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Best Team Essay&colon; Christchurch Girls High<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Best Team A3 Poster&colon; Rotorua Lakes High School<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Best Team Video&colon; James Hargest College<&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<p>The best overall students have won themselves a &dollar;500 electronics voucher and a &dollar;2000 scholarship to Victoria University&period; The best of class entrants receive a &dollar;500 electronics voucher and a &dollar;1000 scholarship to Victoria University&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The winning students will attend a prize-giving event at the Treasury later this week&comma; where they will be given the opportunity to discuss their entries with staff&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
