Audio and film students invited to SAE open day

<h3>Teachers of creative media are invited to take students to an open day at SAE Creative Media Institute in Parnell&comma; Auckland&comma; next month&period;<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>SAE has 50 campuses in 28 countries around the world and qualifications are recognised internationally&period; Qualifications on offer include Bachelor of Recording Arts&comma; Diploma of Audio Engineering&comma; Certificate in Electronic Music Production&comma; Diploma of Film and a Bachelor of Film Arts&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Job prospects for graduates are diverse&comma; including recording studio engineer&sol;producer&semi; live sound technician&semi; audio production for theatre&comma; camera operator&comma; scriptwriter and 3D animator to executive producer and film editor&comma; and radio industry work&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The campus will be open to anyone who is interested in a career in the audio or film industry&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Visitors can tour the facilities&comma; including the new&comma; state-of-the-art&comma; film studio which is currently under construction and due for completion later this year&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Tours will be led by lecturers and campus staff who will also give short presentations about all available programmes&comma; potential careers in the industry and the achievements of SAE alumnae&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The creative industries in New Zealand remain a burgeoning sector&period; A 2015 report prepared by chartered accountants&comma; PwC&comma; revealed that New Zealand’s creative industries &lpar;including the book&comma; music&comma; television and film sectors&rpar; contribute more than &dollar;3&period;5 billion annually to the local economy&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This is similar in size to the forestry sector&comma; double the size of the printing sector&comma; and half the size of sheep&comma; beef cattle and grain farming&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
